step 1: Reboot the phone
step 2: Press the * button to program when it prompts as the phone is starting up.
step 3: when it ask for code, enter code: Press "Mute 27238#" and press "enter" (Craft)
step 4: A menu will appear scroll down and clear it. it will prompt again "Press clear again to confirm"
step 5: it will reboot and factory reset....
i tried the same on 9641GS but after restarting it again asks" enter code "....can yu help me where am i going wrong

we tried to reset a 9641 using the *27238# but the phone is not responding. What else can we try to reset the phone. Currently restart application is being displayed on the phone
